After years of trying I finally bagged my first redhead (duck anyway) last November in Nebraska. And what a redhead it was. Taxidermist almost done.

Very Nice. Used to do a lot of duck hunting here in NY, late season was when those large flocks of redheads, bluebills, and cans would show up. I always thought those three ducks were the best looking. And most fun to hunt.

Love hunting divers and such beautiful ducks! Really nice mount!

Jealous. I've only had opportunities at puddle ducks, would really like to try those sleek divers. That's a wonderful trophy for sure. That's on the level of a P&Y buck for me.

Really is a lot of fun hunting them over the small stock ponds in northwest Nebraska. Not what I always imagined for diver hunting but those things can fill up with them. I shot a hen canvasback out there about three years ago. Should have mounted it I guess.
