I live in the piedmont area of SC and am looking for a good ratio of wheat, oats and winter rye for our plots. I plan to plant separate brassicas and need a ratio or turnips, rape and forage radish also. I see that all of Lick Creeks info has been deleted by QDMA. Is this info available anywhere else?

Go to the Paul Knox room just a couple below the Food Plot room. I posted some links that will tell you his seeding rates.

If I am planting cereal grains alone I will plant them at 100# per acre. I drop that if they are in a mix. Your oats are going to die with your first good freeze.

Last year I planted 75# of a wheat/rye combo and 25# of oats per acre. I also broadcasted ladino clover with it.

And so it begins...it's really a shame all that knowledge went away, thank god its saved in other forums, including this one like dogdoc said, http://deerhunterforum.com/index.php?forums/the-wisdom-of-paul-knox-lc.10/

Paul Knox has many great threads at Iowa Whitetail forum under Doubletree's Corner. Outreach Outdoors forum has them too. If any questions arent answered here, check them out.
