I had this growing in one of my clover plots that I found today while mowing. Wondering what it is, and what can I spray to get rid of it?IMG_3972.JPG

That is a common weed in my garden. Very soon it will have many flowers. Like Native said, let it get close to mature and then mow it down. Flowering to me is close enough to seeding to cut it down.

Of course even if you stop your plants from making seed, you will likely get more from your neighbor to have another crop next year. When that plant makes seed, they are light and fluffy. The wind carries them for miles.......

Native Americans used that plant to make an ointment to treat rectum problems... Early American Preparation H......:D

And that is why you don't mess with the medicine man......he could carry a grudge and use poison ivy instead!
