I dialed in 6" for that, the wind affect was almost impossible to call. I need alot more practice. Im bolting side plates to it till I learn what the heck Im doing. The red paint dot was 1/2 MOA and were 1 moa apart. 122' of hold over. I havent had a challange shooting in a while so this has and will be a fun learning curve. This was with my 6.5 creedmoor 140 grain VLDs

I have a good friend who was a ranger sniper. He talked me through the process one time of calculating long shots, he lost me pretty quick.

I plowed, rock racked, planted warm season and native grasses on the bottom of my sawmill plot. I just sprayed the top have of that same plot so I can do the same process to it so my crimp roller is more effective. For a brand new plot I am happy how things have grown. I wish I had this equipment last year when I made this plot. Oh well. I didn’t so here I am. Killing a nice field. But it will be a lot nicer when I’m done.

Here I'm trying to kill grasses and your planting some But that's ok, with the acreage that you have, some deer cover will be a great addition to your spread. How's your clover looking?

Now that's real deer food that they won't wipe out right away. A good clover plot and a winter rye plot is the backbone that a Pennsylvania habitat manager needs to feed deer year round. Everything else is secondary add-on's. Mow it low in Labor day and drill oats or rye into it.

Well it hasn’t rained for weeks other than one day so it has been a good time to plow and pick rocks out of the fields. If anyone has followed this post then you know how many rocks I have had in my fields. Since wanting to use the crimp roller this was a needed task that had to be done. All most done with this field and only one more to go. Should easily be ready for august planting. Thank goodness for a cab tractor with this heat and dust

A buddy and I did some plot work for an out of state fella a couple years ago. I would have killed (ok, maybe a little exaggeration) to have one of those! We did get paid really well for picking up rocks, but we couldn't get them all and we took some years off our equipment I'm sure.

All that you have to do is say "it hasn't rained for weeks" and it let's loose. I see on the radar it looks like it's pouring out there.

Without a blood test, checking his vitals, and having him step on the scales, I'd say he's healthy. If you would see him broadside in daylight he'd look much better. He's an older buck putting all his energy into growing a rack and the camera angle and shadows magnifies that. That's a prime example of why some quality summer food is important. You might want to consider him for the shooter list due to his age, although I'd want some better pictures to decide. The way he's standing makes his back sag, making him look older. He might be 4 yr old anyway?
