My buddy drilled 4 acres of soybeans at a rate of 126lb/acre before he noticed the mistake on the gear setting. He had it on gear 2 instead of 1.

Anyone have experience with planting soybeans at a high rate. 7 14” spacing

Take into account that the germination rate is 80-85% and his planting rate is closer to right than wrong.

Thanks guys

Also it’s left over wildlife seed so germination is even worse

It will be interesting to see if more plants can offset the browse pressure? I’ll have 4 of 9 acres way over seeded to compare
