Nice Roots...Northern W. Crabs

I got my NWCs in the ground today. Trees were smaller than last year but still nice sized. Roots were excellent. I planted 5 of these last year and 5 this year. Some of the ones from last year are nearly 7 feet tall in just one year and making flowers this year.

Great looking trees! I'm planting 2 dozen trees from NWC next month, glad to hear your experience has been good.

I planted 12 of them this weekend as well. I actually just wrote Terry from NW Crab an Email thanking him for providing great looking trees. They were really easy to work with and accommodating on shipping dates. I don't normally go out of my way to endorse anything, but I was really happy. My roots looked just like yours Native.

All 12 of my trees started leafing out which is a great thing. I got mine fenced this weekend, looking forward to progress.

I set 5 of them last year and at least two of those are loaded with flowers this time. As you can see, they did well the first year. I never watered them or put any fertilizer out. They just made it on their own.

Wow lots of roots. Will love that native hunter soil. Will they have a view of the barn?
