New ruger

Picked up a new fishing piece today. 3 inch 22 lr, just over 1 pound. Haven't shot it yet range report coming soon.

The wife asked why I needed a gun to go fishing - I told her because barramundi is a bloody big fish! The reference was lost on her, city girls....

They have made the 3" in a 38 for a year or so. The 22 version just got released.

Adjustable sights too! Will have to add this to the wish list. I tried a 317 S&W before and it was horrible. Shot a foot high with the rear sight maxed out, and couldn't hit a barn from the inside. Traded it in on a Ruger 22/45 Lite.
