Natural Resources University podcast network

Thanks, good to know! This looks like a great site for me to fill in those long road trips.
I have to listen to podcasts when I'm driving, mowing, or some mundane activity I don't have to concentrate on. I can't just sit and listen to them without some type of video to go along with it.

Very cool to see the collaboration. I’ve listened to all the deer university episodes already, excited to listen to the others.

Does anyone listen to podcasts while sitting in this blind or while in a tree? I have hearing aids that are blue-toothed to my iPhone and I'm in a box. I doubt it could be heard by a deer at 20 yards. My brother sitting next to me can't hear it. My biggest problem is my concentration is affected by it. When I'm getting ready to shoot, I need my full concentration. Your thoughts?

I can't have distractions while sitting in the stand. I'm new to the trees and other plants in this area, so my time in the stand is occupied by learning to identify everything.

I listen to a ton of podcasts going to/from work and other times on the road but definitely not in a tree. I go to the woods to escape all the noise.

I do the opposite. My commute is short, but fairly heavy traffic, so I don't even have the radio on while going to and from work. If I had a lot of highway miles to travel, it would be different. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hunting in an open stand in the woods i would never have ear buds in. My hearing is the most valuable asset i have during a hunt like that. But during a long sit in an enclosed one-sided blind at a food plot my hearing is useless for hunting, and then I might listen to something. But if there's any action the headset will get ditched in a hurry.
