I recently ordered various hybrid oaks from Morse nursery for a little diversity and to feed my curiosity.

I did a little searching on this forum and didn’t find a whole lot about people’s experiences with these hybrids.

What are your experiences with Morse’s hybrid oaks?

Have some that are about 5 years old. A few have started to a small produce acorns. Most are at camp, in sub optimal conditions. Two are at home. One got hit hard by an insecticide treatment last year. The other last 6' of it's main leader last year, due to some sort of worm. It also gets hit hard by Japanese beetles. It needs to be sprayed, due to size.
