Planted my LC brassica mix for the first time today, planted about an acre or a shade more. added 150 pounds of 19-19-19, and 150 pounds of 46-0-0. The urea sat in bags on my truck and got a bit wet from rain showers, so had to break up the clumps that had gotten wet and clumped up. Hopefully it didn't effect it too much. After discing in I cultipacked, seeded with my Solo spreader and cultipacked again. PH in this plot is 5.8 which is on the low end of the range for brassicas, but hopefully they will do well. I have never been this confident about my other plots. Thanks everyone for their help! pics to follow....

What seeding rate did you use and which of LC's combos, he had one with about 6 things and the other with 3.? I tend to stay the simple route. Hope you got the rains I did. I also planted in a hurry Fri morn to beat the rain. Good luck.

With some valantier rye comeing up also. I let my rye go too seed. The deer sure like to bed in that stuff, eapecially where there was a carpet of clover under the rye.
