Lazy Man stands

IMG_0569.JPG Anyone have any real world experience with Lazy Man stands? I keep toying with the idea of building but came across these as potential options. Just can't stomach the $1500 - +$3000 price tags many blinds carry. The Penthouse gun model for the Lazy Man stands run about $600 with windows. Planning to go to Nashville to see them at a dealer there but haven't been able to get down there yet. Figured someone on here might have tried one before.

I heard the name but didn't see any yet. I'd definitely want to inspect one before I'd buy. They look pretty basic but that's ok if the price is right. But if you need to add a base it'll be right up there. I'd encourage you to build one from scratch with material that you buy, you can get a lot of material for $600.

They are pretty basic for sure and you do have to build a base. I'm certain I could probably do it a little bit cheaper but considering that I need at least two and a buddy needs three of them, the time commitment has to be taken into account as well. BuIlding 5 from the ground up will take some time and that starts to cut into our day job (which pays for all of the crazy stuff we all love). Hope to check them out in the next couple of weeks and will report back.

Redneck blinds are the best, you can easily bow or rifle hunt. I paid $2600 for tower and blind. Construction and materials are top notch.

Stevieray,

I absolutely love the Redneck blinds. If they were $1500 I or so I could probably stomach them. But $2600 packs a pretty good wallop on the ol wallet. Does look awesome though.
