Looked like a bad trip!

I took a trip to Iowa once that was a whole lot like yours. Up until I read your blog, I felt a little sorry for myself. Now, not so much ! It’s too long to tell, but suffice it to say that your guy and my guy were a lot alike. To this day, I think we might have been trespassing where we hunted and I know without a doubt that we didn’t have the proper tags. Like you, I began to smell a rat after the second day and called the Iowa DNR. I confirmed that we did not have the proper tags and we left. Took about two months but we got the hunt fees back. We were still out gas money and time though. That guy is still operating and I’ve seen several TV “hunters” over the years hunting with him.
