I found this tree in downtown Columbia walking to a concert. My friends thought I was crazy when I got excited about a tree lol. I only have experience with dunstan chestnuts but I am guessing this is a Chinese?

Yes, it's a Chinese Chestnut. If your friends didn't also get excited, it's time to find new friends...:D View attachment 12738

This tree is loaded too. I hope I can get back when they start dropping and grow some.
