iPhone assist rifle scope

At elk camp and a buddy shared a picture of an attachment you can add to a scope to help disabled kids to shoot a rifle. I took a picture of his picture so it’s not too good.

Thought it would be easy to find on the internet but I’m struggling. This unit lets the kid aim as normal but you can see where he’s aiming to help him.

Can anyone steer me to something like this?

Try googling I scope and see what you come up with. I've seen Dr. Woods use something similar and I think that's what it was called.

Thanks. That one uses an iPhone but not the scope - I think. Found that one on amazon.

Looking for one that you can see through scope and I can see on my iPhone what’s being targeted

I believe it does use the scope, but you shoot looking through the phone. It mounts over the lens and you actually use the phone screen to aim with.

That one you have photo’d there looks like a complicated mess. A young shooter, especially a disabled one, should not have something that close to their eye to kick back at them, even if it is soft. As you can see in the photo, the shooter’s cheek is not anywhere close to seated correctly. I have always felt this improper head placement on the stock is one of the biggest reasons kid’s cages get rattled upon the shot. Maybe even more so than the kick to the shoulder. Try taking a shot once with the stock on your teeth rather than seated correctly on your cheek. Its ugly.

The iScope, as mentioned above, works pretty easily. It just gets in line with the scope, and the hunter and the helper view the iPhone screen through the scope. Its the way to go. You can also record the shot, so you see the animal’s reaction and the impact for a split second on the playback.

I scope worked great

We got two does. Missed one.

Awesome experience for all involved. Highly recommend taking a person with disabilities hunting with an iscope
