Get ready, the BATFE is over stepping it’s bounds again. If they make this ruling, you will have to apply for an AOW tax stamp, which means you have to take it to an SOT FFL holder until your stamp is approved. Yes, it’s only a $5 stamp, but you can and will be out of a firearm for several months. Does t seem like much, but while it’s at the SOT, they could change the rules again and you could be out a firearm. Don’t let it happen, like it did with the bump stocks(like them or not).

President Trump signed an executive order a week or more ago telling all the alphabet agencies to cease making rulings until further notice and the BATFE has flicked their nose at him and continues to do so.

I am writing today about an alarming action being taken by the BATF. According to the law firm of Wiley and Rein, the BATF is secretly changing firearms laws and subverting an Executive Order by the President of the United States to place lawful gun owners in grave legal jeopardy.

The BATF are currently considering any AR15 pistol, or other firearms which are pistol versions of commonly owned and used rifles, to be illegal “any other weapons” (AOW) under the National Firearms Act. This secret move puts millions of lawful gun owners at risk of being arrested and charged with owning an illegal firearm that was legally purchased and is still being sold nationwide by gun stores.

I ask that you read the letter from the law firm of Wiley and Rein by following the attached URL to their website. I also ask that you take immediate and swift action to stop the rogue actions of the BATF. Their unprecedented actions are placing millions of law abiding Americans in serious legal jeopardy, and they don’t even know it.

This unbelievable action by the BATF is repugnant to the Constitution of the United States and should be of great concern by all Representatives in Congress.

I’m so sick of these rogue agencies doing whatever the hell they want. I recently bought a Kel Tec CP33 with the intention of adding a brace. Looks like I’m going to need to get a brace ASAP.
