For those of you in the north - especially in Minnesota, the following website is extremely helpful for identifying plants on your landscape:

The advanced plant search is particularly useful to ID plants.
They even have an offline app you can download and put on your phone. I walk my property and try to identify anything. It will tell you if native or non native. I'm in the middle of nowhere so the fact I can use it offline means I don't need cell service.
I assume for identification purposes, a good portion of northern states could use this as well. I paid $10 for the app.
