Basically what we told her. I though she should come visit Kansas for a week!

Do you have any boats, 4 whlers, chainsaws, tillers, wood splitters or other power equipment? Forty gallons of gas would last me about two weeks - and that is if I didnt put it in my truck or car.

You lucky some$&@"$. I'll use the gas, but the gas cans and will remain largely unused. Maybe I'll spray paint them yellow and fill em with diesel. I lose 2-3 diesel cans/year to the bears, so ........
Seriously though, stay safe guys. I feel relief and a bit of guilt at the same time.

Went from 85 mph winds and 20" rain in Raleigh to 55 and 2.8 according to latest forecast LOL. I swear its a plot to get people to buy stuff. After the new generator and whatnot, I'm out about 1300 bucks.
If anyone in SC wants to drive up here, I'll sell you a generator and a months worth of canned goods for 700.

What am I going to do with 7 full, 6 gallon gas cans??

Just put it in your truck after she passes assuming you don't end up needing it (unless you drive a diesel...)
