Getting set to get to work in April/May for first time on some plots. What 25 gallon sprayer with wand and boom do you guys like?

Usually i just go with Northern Tool ones. They come complete and set-up with everything you need and usually reasonably priced <$200 for pump and all. Still have one that has to be going on 15 years and still pumping like normal maybe some nozzle cleaning and tank cleaning every now and then.

Is that the North Star brand? Been trying to decide between a cheaper sprayer from Tractor Supply or an expensive but presumably better quality crop care brand.

I have one from TSC, actually it’s a hybrid made from a trailer type but I built a frame for it so that I can haul it in my CanAm. I had to replace the pump on it last year after about four seasons, and have replaced the cut off switch in the electric harness at least twice. Chinese junk I guess, but cheap. Fimco is the brand.

yes northstar brand....treated me well. Have another portable pump from them that i use to pump water out of large water tank and thing runs like champ

I bought the 16 gallon one this past summer. Worked great. So much nicer than using the 4 gallon backpack sprayer. Able to do a much bigger area. And quicker!

The backpack sprayer is great for spot spraying or plots under 1/4 acre. Bigger plots are no fun! I’m definitely buying an ATV sprayer this year!

Shit I’m getting another one just to spray apple trees with this spring. My 3 gallon one I was using just isn’t big enough, have 38 trees and adding another 18. 29 on one property, 27 on another. Plus the 3 gallon broke at the seam and is worthless now.

make sure you get long enough wand on it for when tree gets bigger so you don't have to be climbing up ladder !

I'm getting the spot sprayer version. It's got plenty of hose I believe and shoots 19' or so. Should be enough for my half assed spraying. :)

We've used a few at our camp. Started with a Superior Tech from our Deere's at home. Worked well, but not set up for an ATV/UTV. I acquired a few used Fimcos. If you hunt around, you can find them for 40%-60% off. I turned around and flipped most of them. The reviews are pretty poor on them. Expect to have to possibly go over anything preassembled to check for leaks, etc. The pump quality is mediocre. Last season we bought a crop care. It's a SERIOUS upgrade over anything else we had. If you have the money, I highly recommend one

Were you able to order your Cropcare online? I haven’t been able to find a dealer near me. I’ve been consider a sprayer from AgSpray. They appear pretty well built

Which sprayer do you have your eye on? I've been using a regular Solo 2 gal hand-held sprayer on my fruit trees but some of them will be too big this year...

North Star from northern tool. 16 gal spot sprayer. I bought the 16 gallon two nozzle boom version last summer for plots. Worked great. Hoping these last awhile.
