My suggestion is if you have cows around, don't plant them.
As you can see from this not-so-good picture the bloom spikes in post #73 have indeed tried to set at least one acorn here in SEPTEMBER. I have started harvesting acorns from this tree already. You can see in the background one "normal" acorn that is almost ready to harvest.
How tall are your DCO’s?
Less than 5'9" because they are shorter than me.
From post 82 above the acorn is forming. I guess if it doesn't get cold til Christmas here like normal I'll get one out of this.
I have a few second generation DCOs heading up to the farm this weekend. Planning on planting on the hill with the parent tree and my Concordia oaks.
