Double A Farm NE Ohio

I think I’m sitting pretty good going into the season. Corn, beans, alfalfa and brassicas all grew to their full potential

Super impressed with the first year growth of the miscanthus from Maple River Farms. I’ll fertilize it next year now that the rhizomes have had a chance to establish. Definitely ordering more.

I think you're sitting more than "pretty good" there farm twin (fraternal of course as you're far superior on the food sources)! LOL. Deer are gonna be all over your place during the season. Good luck to ya!

I’ve been staying out of my Ohio farm so not much to report there but I did have one hell of an October at home in Pennsylvania. Tagged a doe with the muzzleloader in the north west mountains and a great buck with my bow just a few miles from my house. I’ve got 15 days of vacation coming up so anything that happens in Ohio will be icing on the cake. God is good. Hope you all are having fun as well.

While the rest of us have been busy talking about filling the freezer, you have been busy actually filling it...;)

Great job on both deer, and that buck sure is a pretty one. He should make a beautiful mount!!! Congratulations my friend!!

Howdy everyone. Hope you all survived the winter ok. Can’t believe how time flies. We’re all doing great here and I’m prepping for another season at the farm.

Got tired of dealing with the old, rutted out, power line trail to my back field so I had my friend bring his machine. I just wanted the path cleaned up, crowned and a drainage ditch but he gave me a proper road. I won’t have to stress about that wet, boggy trail any more when I have to get a heavy tractor and equipment to the back field in the spring
