Corral hog trap

Nope. Actually I think having the trap and bait actually increases the numbers on our piece--BUT that's fine as we prefer wild pork to venison anyway. And, it is a HECK of a lot of fun.

If you're shooting hogs you can forget them going in a trap. Trust me.
Once you start shooting at them at my place they leave for a long while. Might get a pic or two of a lone boar at night but that's about it.

I killed at least one every night last week - seven days in a row. I was killing a hog at 10:30 pm and having more come in at 1 am. The eighth night - a big boar came in. I went looking the first time I got a picture text to me. I saw him but couldnt get closer than 100 yards before he spooked. He came back later that night and so did I - but didnt see him that time. He came the next two nights, but I never saw him when I went looking. The fourth night, I parked the 4 whlr 400 yards away and slipped in. Saw him at 100 yards again - took an offhand shot and evidently missed. No hogs been back since then.
