Clear Creek Farm

Thanks for the kind words. I hate the QDMA forum is no longer in use but I think alot of us have moved over here. I look forward to following everyone here.

Those pears should get some attention this fall. Nice job on the trees. Good to see ya!

Glad u made the move. Pear trees should just keep getting better and better now that they are producing.

Finally got some nuts on the Chinese Chestnuts. I have these trees planted in a location that is to wet for them in the winter and spring. I was afraid they where not ever going to produce. Got a few this year.:)

This is a Kieffer pear that has to many pears for a couple of the limbs. They broke in the last week. Deer have ate the pears and leaves they can reach.

Your fruit trees are amazing. Great land layout. And I liked the burn pics especially after discussion had on Tripple C thread.

Last couple pictures are of longleaf from May 2015 and today. Pic taken from about same spot. They have grown alot in 15 months.

I am envious of your pear trees. I have been trying to get there. Glad to have another member from the "Heart of Dixie", or can we still say that?

Thanks lakngulf
I planted these trees as whips in 2010. Had a few pears last year but they are all loaded this year. I was afraid a frost had gotten them but it didn't.
