That does not produce ozone. It is an ionizer, which produces negative ions to cause stuff in the air to stick to other things. Ozone destroys the stinky molecules in the air through oxidation. Ozone also is really hard on lungs and is tracked by the EPA in all major cities as it is a major source of hazzardous pollution. I have held off on trying these products in a closed area until I can read up on some of the current scientific findings on acceptable concentrations for closed areas.

You raise a good point. Why aren't more people talking about the potential dangers of inhaling ozone? A friend of mine and his dad had a large ozone air purifier running their small shop in the late 90's when they were all the rage because it was supposed to be good for you. When you walked into their shop the ozone was so thick you could taste it. His father passed away from lung cancer about 8 years later, had never smoked and wasn't around people who smoked. I was always wondering what his ozone work environment had to do with his untimely death?
