Bucks at our deer camp water trough

Its crazy hot and dry here as usual in Central Texas and the water trough at deer camp is bringing them again this summer. Pics are from my s600 homebrew and Spartan GoCam:

A buzzard re aimed my Spartan for me. I couldn't believe it when these pics hit my phone:

So, I drove out there to check that other camera at the trough. Even having seen the two pictures above, my jaw hit the floor when I saw these. Not bad for a 110 acre piece a dirt:

Holey smokes! Looks like a moose, an elk and a mess of nice bucks. When water is the lowest hole in the bucket a stock tank is quite a draw.

So what is the definition of a "shooter" buck at your camp Ross ? The standards must be pretty high from all of the majestic animals I am seeing, holy wow !!

The freaky buck is at the top of the list for sure or that big thick 8. I swear cameras save more deer lives! Lol

In our county you can only shoot 1 buck with branched antlers on both sides (Antler Retrictions). It's mighty hard to hang a tag on anything else knowing that beast of a buck is out there. I've got a 20" wide 10 pt eating protein 2 or 3 times a day. I thought for sure he'd be the one to hunt this year until big boy showed up.

That freak buck showed up to that water trough several times last summer. Maybe once a week at most and then vanished as soon as the heat broke and we got a few rains. No one around us saw him or got him on camera and neither did we again until this week. I've got a camera out pretty deep in the thick stuff on a convergence of trails hoping to get lucky and catch him. I know he won't come to water or feed during season and I've caught no evidence of him on our plots. I'm just hoping to find out how he moves on our property and maybe ambush him with a popup blind setup.
