Anyone going to have scions from these trees, or any other late dropping crabapples to swap? Sent from my iPhone using Deer Hunter Forum
letemgrow, I can prune you off some Ralph Shay in a couple of weeks, 1" to 1 1/8" deep red fruit that does not drop until spring. Great winter wildlife food, but unfortunately not much help for deer hunting.
I know it's the wrong time of year for this, but if anyone has some to share this fall/winter, I'd love to get on a wait list.
A few years, depending on the tree size. You're generally cutting that year's growth in the fall/winter.
I’ll send you a picture of the tree next time I’m at my place, you tell me if you think it will work.
