Do you believe any of that bachelor group is a 3 1/2 year old deer?
How many are 2 1/2 year old deer? Which deer will score the best?
What is the date - that gives us an idea how many more weeks of growth?

Having 5 nice looking younger 8 pts ain't bad. I do want to know where are our 10 point genes at?

I think they are all 2.5's and I don't think any will break 100". The pic was taken last week. Definitely none will be on my hit list because I have plenty of older deer running around. I'm not worried about the lack of 10 points. Most of my 2.5 year old deer are 8 points and they really start branching out at 3.5.

Everyone cranks their engine the way they like - Gosh that deer needs to walk. He has the potential to really blow up with one or two years. If he gains 25 inches each year for two years - what is he knocking on.

Your reply to my questions make me feel good that you know your farm. Evidently got enough cameras & history.

Learn to know which week most of them stop growing. Learn which bucks stall out early and which ones just grow longer than that other bucks do. Create folders for specific bucks and save them by date. On 725 acres you will have a bunch - be ain't that a great thing. When you have three years in the folder for the buck - you have the right research organized.

Luke - you got as bad as some of us ole' guy do. Glad to see your passion.
