Bobcats in the back yard...

image.jpg image.jpg We've had an explosion of cottontails and the Bobcats have taken notice. I've seen them during daylight twice this summer. FYI, this is 43 miles north of Gotham.

If you ever get a chance to watch a bobcat move in stealth mode - they are a silent traveler. I had bobcats walk across a narrow shooting lane twice on different days. Late in the day with about 20 minutes left of light - it is like they walk (or glide) 3 inches above the ground.

I watched one stalk a sounder that contained baby pigs in TX years ago--it was impressive. I introduced him to a slick trick:)
 
That had to be a great hunt. Yep, cats are impressive predators.

Congrats on that experience - hunting is about memories.
