Black oak appeal for Whitetails?

    Seems that location is more important than actual type of acorn dropping. This tree is getting mauled right now and the white oaks are dropping all over the farm at the same time.

    Not sure what the appeal is considering it’s a bitter red oak variety.

    Shingle oaks spread like an invasive in my area. Black oak seems to be along the lines of a northern red far as #’s go.
