ATV seed spreader

I am sure this has been discussed ad nauseum, but here goes......

What spreaders do members recommend to mount on 4 wheel ATVs ?

Moultrie has them listed for around 129$ and 329$

My plots range from .25 to 1.5 acres. ~ 13 acres in total

Thanks,
bill

I have the Moultrie that was $129. I am very pleased with it. I bought it to do small seeds but have used it for everything. I would have to look and see what the more expensive one offers but I doubt you need it.

I got my Earthway from Northern tool and it does okay, wish it had a agitator to help feed the seed. I plan on spot welding a pin to the shaft. I used it for oats, cow peas and sunflowers so far.

You just looking for bolt on, or tow behind at all? I'm using a cheap row behind and between that and the chest spreader, I'm happy enough

I have the cheaper Moultrie that I got from Cabalas. One thing I don't like is there is no agitator and there is no cone slope directing the seed to the hole as the seed bin bottom is flat. But it works good otherwise, as it has saved these old bones a lot of walking and cranking, on the two acres I plot. You probably want something a little better for 13 acres.

I have the less expensive mogul tried as well and have been pleased with it. Have run fert, lime and seed from soybean down to turnip with no issues at all.
