    I currently shoot a 2015 Hoyt Nitrum 34 and plan on having it a while, My previous bow to the Nitrum was a 08 Hoyt Katera xl. And before that I shot Alpine bows, i still have 2 of them hanging in the basement, never know when you will need a back up or 2.

    Deer processing questions

    I have been using grant woods method for the last few years, I find this way to be the faster than sawing the deer in half and quartering, I will store the meat in gallon ziplock bags or reused gallon ice cream buckets in my extra refrigerator until i have time to process.

    Nothing wrong with using a bottom plow to start new plots, I started all of mine with a single bottom, now i throw and mow or rototill.

    What seed store are you getting your iron clay cowpeas from? I have asked at the bedford farm bureau but they don't carry them, I got a bunch of evolved harvest mean bean crush on clearance a few years ago and the deer seemed to like the cowpeas in the mix.

    I usually frost seed Ladino, or medium red clover into my spent brassica plots in early spring, but this year i broadcast crimson clover with my brassicas, i'll let you know in spring if i have clover!

    You cant use bigger than .243 in indiana? that seems unusual,just curious, how long has that been the law? we can use what ever we want in Pa, from a .17 rem up to a 50 bmg.

    Starting dcos, sawtooth, hybrid white oak indoors

    I planted around 60 gobbler sawtooth oak acorns in a raised garden bed, then put down hardware cloth to protect them from rodents. If i even get a few trees out of it i will be happy.
