    The perfect blood tracking law?

We have been on 19 tracks in 6 different counties, dealing with 5 different wardens. We are strictly leashed and no weapons. All wardens have been totally supportive. I agree with the doctor, my apologies, back to topic.

    The perfect blood tracking law?

A new statute is the ultimate goal. Attempted several times. Hopefully we can build some good will and recognition of the asset of tracking by being able to track under the guidelines of the exception to the reg and move forward from there.

Proposed Oklahoma rule changes on tracking dogs.

I would like to jump in here a little and address a couple of things brought up in this thread. First off, tracking has been and is being allowed in OK this fall under the restrictions outlined above that will be in the written "exception" in the 2017 regs and to my knowledge there have been no...

    YO CLETUS!

Sorry I haven't posted more. Cletus is having a great season. We have had days with 8-10 calls. One of our best tracks was a call to the Red River bottom. I was avoiding anything down there til cold weather due to rattlesnakes but this call was in an area I had turkey hunted and knew it...

    Luna's Tracking Journal 2016

Good job Luna! That's one of those tracks that only the coyotes win. If you try to recover the deer too fast it runs into the next county and then the coyotes get it. The only chance is to wait, let it expire and hope you beat them to it.

    YO CLETUS!

Cletus had a great practice track today. The Hunter made a good shot, left the woods and called us-perfect! We arrived an hour later and couldn't find a drop of blood at the hit but Cletus picked a path and I went with him. At about 75 yds in still no blood, the hunter thought wrong direction...

A bit shorter backed and longer legged than the American version and much more athletic. His mother came from the Czech Republic and his...

    Track offer-southwest OK

Cherokee county, no that is 4hours from me. It would not be a bad idea just to call your warden(s) and get their input. I can tell you that the wardens I have worked with see us as a resource and I always report back regarding the results of the track. If I ever call to check in for approval and...

    Track offer-southwest OK

This fall the ODWC is allowing the wardens to work with trackers in their area at the wardens descetion. Each track must be warden approved prior to tracking and the hunter and location given. This is not something I've heard but something I checked on in person at ODWC. Our protocol on a track...

    Track offer-southwest OK

OK archery hunters, here's the deal. My tracking dog, Cletus, has passed his first certification with UBT and is progressing very well. We are interested in helping with any track, but what would be great training at this point is several good solid practice tracks where the odds are very good...
