    Hunting Blinds

We put a couple of these on separate ridges on the Hillfarm. They are 6x9 with 16 tinted windows that slide down for shooting, even a bow.

    Traditions Vortek StrikerFire

I have a Traditions Buckhunter pro model where the bolt strikes the cap. Although it is one of the first inline models it's a very accurate gun with the right load. I shoot a .44 magnum 300grain XTP Hornady bullet with a sabot in front of 100grains of 777 and igniting it all with a 209 Remington...

    Micro woods plot success pics

Although not in the woods, these two plots are on a ridge, separated by big blocks of timber. I rotate the two crops annually and I use Paul Knox's Doubletree food plot method and plantings. You can Google his name or Doubletree method for the specifics. Both of these plots add up to near one...

I have read about the Ruger SR 1911's long enough so I got me an officers model. I cannot describe how much I love it.

    Fruit Tree Spraying

Here are the photos, although not great quality, of the apple trees most affected by cedar apple rust. The first photo is of a Goldrush with a Honeycrisp and cedar trees in the background. The second photo is of the Honeycrisp tree and you can see the cedars in the backdrop. These are third leaf...

    Spraying fruit trees

I use one spray for all my fruit trees I have so far. The spray is one teaspoon of neem oil and two teaspoons of Castile soap per gallon of water. I use this as a dormant oil spray before leaf out and I also use this spray to boost immunity of my "hippy dippy apples" so I can grow Honeycrisp and...

    Pond maintenance

Stout one gallon jugs with screw-on lids (windshield wiper fluid jugs are my favorite), one foot- two foot leader of stout line, tied to the handle with a 4/0 circle hook, with some cutbait or livers, can solve lots of your problems in a couple of weekends. Just toss them out at dusk and collect...

Where to find potted chestnut trees?

I got four hybrid chestnut trees from Morse Nursery in the spring of 2017. I think they were Spanish/Chinese crossed trees. They were about four feet tall, and had about three quarters of an inch caliper, when I planted them, that spring. Two of the four trees, bloomed last summer, and all four...

    Persimmon Scions

I can get scion wood from these trees this year: Apples- Unknown seedling tree my Grandfather planted. A tart fist sized apple with a red blush over green when ripe, early summer, July. Shows little sign of scab, CAR or other diseases. Honeycrisp RJ Gold Antonovka Enterprise Liberty...

    Persimmon Scions

I would like some late October or early November ripening persimmon scions also. I don't have any persimmon scions for trade but I have various apple and pear trees for scion exchange.

Thanks for all the pictures fellas

What are the oak trees that produce the quickest?

Do sawtooths spread out to become invasive where you live? This is the only reason I didn't plant them originally. I never thought of tubing the chinquapins. I may consider doing some.
