    Lime question.

    All. Might be a dumb question but I need to add lime to my new plots. I can’t get a like truck in so am stuck with my atv. What’s the longevity of ag lime vs pelletized lime? Am I making a mistake by not hand spreading 50lb bags of ag lime when I can. I’ve normally used pelletized lime.

    I have about a 8 acre piece that backs into my “hunting neighbors”. It is safer to turn that area into bedding or food. I recent added a perimeter trail so there would be a slight buffer. I was leaning towards thick nasty bedding but was hoping for some input.

    Left over roots in plot help.

    All. I’ve dragged my new plot with a fence drag that was just cleared by an excavator. There are small roots sticking up in a lot of places. What’s the best course to get rid of them. Hand cut all of them? Can I just let them rot away? Tired of cutting already.

    Herbicide spot treatment.

    Just curious how you all spot treat small (sometimes only a single weed) areas in your food plots. I’ve got just a handful of broadleaf weeds coming up in my clover plots (already killed the grass with cleth). It’s appears that it’s mostly bracken ferns.
