I'll probably wait until first couple weeks of October. I'd like to plant earlier, but it's just too hot/dry in September here. Anytime after October 1 I just start watching the weather. I think the latest I've planted was 3rd weekend in October.

The freaky buck is at the top of the list for sure or that big thick 8. I swear cameras save more deer lives! Lol In our county you can only shoot 1 buck with branched antlers on both sides (Antler Retrictions). It's mighty hard to hang a tag on anything else knowing that beast of a buck is out...

We are at the tail end of a run of 100* days and about 5 weeks with no rain. I ready for change and some rain so I can start at least thinking about firing up the tractor. :-)
