    Is this a Complete failure?

Planted a brassica mix in mid July. Mostly rape and purple top turnips. Looks Ike heavy browse pressure already(approx .10 acre). Also area flooded after heavy rains. Should I start from scratch? I have a blend of winter rye, wheat and peas with some brassicas I can use. Or will It rebound/...

My deer seem to not like grains.

Every time I plant grains or have them in a blend they seem to get ignored by the deer. Tried again this. Here is a pic of a plot (blend) where the grains (wheat and rye) are 5ft tall turnips and other brassicas in it too . Is this an issue or normal? In upstate NY. Sent from my iPhone using...

    Bugs in brassicas.

I could not find the bugs. One 1/4 acre plot no leaves left. I don’t leave near the property and if I’m gone a few weeks. I may not know it even started. If army worms or other is there a way to prevent it? Sent from my iPhone using Deer Hunter Forum

Then I get back to the property a few weeks later and the little critters have done their damage. Both years I could find the actual bugs that caused the damage but the evidence...

    What might this be?

Neither of those should have been in the bag. Bought the turnips from a seed co that sells everything under the sun. I'll check out the bag next time I'm up to the property. Sent from my iPhone using Deer Hunter Forum
