Annual Weeds are proving to be a Strong Draw.

Worked up this field over a month ago and let nature do its part. It has a lot of purslane and waterhemp/pigweed that sprouted.

The kicker he had in 2022 migrated down to a drop tine this year. I think he's only 3 this year so hopefully he gets at least one more year.

    Quercus Alba growth rate.

Is anyone getting this type of growth for an alba? The acorns from the tree I collected from also seemed to have more vigor than some other albas for comparison. This was an acorn I planted in 2016, and the tree is already 6’ tall. Sent from my iPhone using Deer Hunter Forum

    Black oak appeal for Whitetails?

Seems that location is more important than actual type of acorn dropping. This tree is getting mauled right now and the white oaks are dropping all over the farm at the same time. Not sure what the appeal is considering it’s a bitter red oak variety. Sent from my iPhone using Deer Hunter...

It could not have came together better! Happened before 5 Saturday evening. Deer were out all over us from the get go and did not make it more than 30-45 minutes in the sit. This guy came from behind the condo and walked out in front for a 50 yard broadside shot. The other kicker was my son...
