Anyone have an off grid cabin?

They aren't that expensive. Just need to match voltage and amperage to your panel. Morningstar makes a pretty good selection. This one will work with up to an 80 watt panel. SunGuard 4.5 Amp 12 Volt Solar Charge Controller $27.50 Just an example, they have bigger and smaller ones of course...

Anyone have an off grid cabin?

Should not have over charge unless the Charge Controller settings are not proper for your setup. A Charge Controller provides charge according to how discharged battery is, that is what it is for. Generally when the battery is fully charged the charge controller stops charging.

Anyone have an off grid cabin?

In 2010 it cost around $750 because the panel was $400 at that time. Today that same panel now costs $250 so should be able to do it up the same for $500-$600. Could maybe done for less with cheaper components.

    Which Binoculars?

Agree with buckdeer, 8x32, or out west 10x40's. You have to assess what size you are really willing to cart around, if I had a personal bag carrier I would probably take 10x50's everywhere, or no wait a 36x80 spotting scope. Take a look at the Redfield Rebel 8x32, better than the price lets on.

    Deer Jerkey

Have tried several of the different jerkey shooter/cannon/etc. For me the hands down best one is the LEM Jerky Gun, not...
