The Farm - Madison County, GA

Good stuff! I think I like the chants better myself... I live just outside of Madison county in oglethorpe county, and love seeing the habitat threads on properties that are close to mine!

Yeah, hardwoods, especially in low/heavily shaded areas. I guess the growing season is all summer IF it stays damp. Dry summers they are no where to be found on my place. The more gold they are, the fresher.

Good to know. I have bottomland hardwoods so I'll keep an eye out.

Had a buddy of mine clear a spot for me that I call the "Bowl". I will let it grow up in broom sedge and brush and hide a stand on both the near side and the far side for different winds and it WILL become a major staging area before heading to a large wheat field the the left of where I made this picture. Mature hardwood creek drainage is to my right with numerous large white oaks.

Here is the beginnings of the tallest box stand I've ever built. This one will be 16 feet to the platform. Actually had an attorney help me get this assembled. And all this time I thought they were worthless. LOLOLOL
