Best way to prep cleared land for soybeans?

Here in Kansas there are beans being planted every day right now,in fact replanting mine this week.Got a hard rain next day after planting and packed ground so I had low germination.Looks like you plots will be fine

Good to know. I’ve always heard “knee high by the 4th of July” was what you wanted to go for around here but at this point it doesn’t matter to me. I’ll have a good 60-90 days before the first frost after I plant, which will by plenty of time to at least make some good forage. I’ve still got a lot of work to do before I can get things planted though. Namely discing it all up to make a good seed bed, and adding soil amendments.
