Pinetag's Plot - 43 acres in Virginia

Great pics! I tend to think you caught that doe beginning the birthing process. Cool pic. Place looks great!
Thanks TC! I hope to find some fawn pics on my next card pull but it will be a couple weeks. My wife and I are headed to Ireland later this week for 7 days so no more habitat updates, but it will be cool to see what sort of greenery they have on the island. Not to mention all the other sites the country has to offer. Hopefully I can bring back some good pics to share!

First two days in the books at Ireland!! Will have tons more pics when I get home but for now....

Well boys, made it back late last night from an amazing trip to Ireland! What a beautiful country! We even had sun the entire time which made for some wonderful pictures. We took a couple excursions with one of the tour bus companies as well as a few on our own too. It was my first time driving on the left and we had a couple exciting moments on the rural, narrow roads but overall, I think I did pretty well. I'll post up some pics by day and give a few details about each one.

Day #1...
Explored the city where we were staying. Lots of little gift shops and pubs plus the occasional old building.

Day #2...
Bus tour excursion #1. Took a ferry to one of the Aran islands and then cruised down along the coast to see the Cliffs of Moher from below. Later we would get to walk along the top of the cliffs and see the view from above.

Day #5...
We drove the Ring of Kerry. These were the most intense of the roads we drove where in some cases we came upon one lane bridges with big vehicles popping up on the other side and hairpin curves on steep parts of the mountains. Saw the island where Star Wars: The Force Awakens was filmed.

Day #6...
Hiked one of the 12 Bens in the Connemarra National Park. The pictures don't do it justice but my wife was super proud to get to the top. She's not much of a hiker.

Sheep really do cross the road in front of you and the Irish eat very hardy, which I enjoyed.

Nice.
The Wife and I love to Vacation, something we didn't do much of for many years. We enjoy seeing new sights and doing things we wuld not of been able to otherwise.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow looks like a great time and you sure got lucky on the weather. The bottle of Jameson ain't gonna last very long. Now be truthful, weren't you constantly noticing the flora and fauna of the landscape while traveling thru the countryside, all the while thinking how to manipulate the habitat, and what techniques the locals were using , all without really mentioning all this to your loved one as you traveled hand in hand??? You know. Thanks for showing.

We are starting to get the travel bug. Neither my wife nor I did any traveling as kids and now we want to have some different experiences. There are so many places to see out there! Last year was our first year having passports so now we are determined to use them. Haha

I'll admit I was looking around at the various flora and fauna (one of our tour guides actually used that terminology), however I did not go as far as planning out habitat improvement options. The landscape is so vastly different compared to the eastern forests I'm used to. The guide actually talked a little about cattle grazing and it made me think of your buffalo plot. I guess I do retain some info from time to time. LOL
