Thankfully I didn’t put the IMOX in so it was just water only. Bought another tank yesterday so now I’ll cut the booms off of the trailer and make new tank a 3pt sprayer. Hopefully be spraying next weekend. I wanted a 3 pt sprayer, so this helped move the upgrade along. Lol

Not at all property related but I built this for a company who sells and rents golf carts. He wanted a service / recovery cart and wanted it to look cool for advertisement. Hope you don’t mind for getting off topic

well I have been a little behind getting things into the ground. Just tried out my crimper I made. Drilled 10 acres beans corn lab lab 4 acres of buckwheat into my new sawmill plot to help it out. Spread 4 ton of Humistart to help get ph up.

And plant 2 acres of a dove mix. That is for Louie. Hopefully he gets to retrieve a few birds from it this fall. Now I can back into getting my garage pad prepped and road work improvements

my trees that I planted have been doing great. Some have grown 2’-4’. Out of 101 trees 10 have died but that was of my own fault do to water running into them. So far I’m very pleased with the trees I got from blue hill nursery.

my summer planting turned into a flop. The replanting I did in August with the brassica mix has been growing well. Last night I started clearing for my machine shed

That playground buck looks huge. Is that a three PT rock rake??? I’ve never seen anything like that.... I’m assuming it’s a rake of some sorts

I got 3 bucks of his size this year, starting to see the success from letting them go to grow, and most all of the neighbors are now onboard and seeing nice deer on their place too. The rake is home made. I haven't used any of the tillage equipment in last 3 years I will be repainted them when my building gets done

After going through multiple zone 6b summer planting failures I've mostly stopped planting anything between June 15th and August 15 although brassica and oats can sometimes be planted within that time period with success. And be careful with mowing clover during that time period as well. Mowing tall clover when it's stinking hot is a mistake, the cover protects the roots from drying out.

Those plants look exceptionally healthy. You get a few more weeks before frost and you're gonna have TONNAGE!
We have not been getting any rain lately but heavy dew and fog seems to be making things grow. I have a 2 acre dove field that I will be mowing and planting with winter rye soon and I have another 2 acres on my new saw mill plot that I will be planting WR and I hope to plant warm season grass in spring.

Nice fields. I'd say it's high time to get the winter rye out. It gets a better root system for winter hardiness if you put it out earlier.
