I have been having trouble getting my server Safari to load this forum. It says connection lost when it tries to load. Can only get it to connect maybe once every couple of days. Downloaded the app to and same problem. Using an IPhone and IPad. Been going on for a couple of weeks now. Can anyone help?

If I don’t reply soon it is because I’m having trouble again.
 
Clear your cache or try a different browser. The problem is most likely on your end.
 
I've been having the exact same problem. Using Google with my PC and tapatalk with my phone. When it tells me it can't connect to the server it won't work with anything.

^^^^^ Exactly my same issue. I've cleared my cache many times before without any change. I don't see many post lately when I can get on, so I don't think it's just me and catscratch.
 
I asked Al Nipper (our host) and he said:

“Sites definitely running and I haven’t gotten any kind of error log at all. It’s 99% time user errors / their networks / machines / etc”

I haven’t had any problems on my end...

Is anyone else having problems?
 
I have the same thing happening on my iPhone. My iPad is working fine but I can’t get on with my phone which is most of the day...

Been on the site almost daily since it started and never once had the problem before. Makes it a little hard to imagine that I’m suddenly the problem when I’m able to access every other site without issue. Also having this same problem connecting via Tapatalk for the same period of time.

This screen shot was from about 5 minutes before I started typing this response.
 
I use Safari and a Mac. I've had no issues on this forum but some others are acting goofy.
 
I thought maybe it was just me! I've had it happen on my phone (Google pixel 3) using Tapatalk as well as my work laptop for the last two weeks. I seem to only experience the problem when connected to the company wifi so I was thinking it was firewall related, but maybe not? I believe the error is "server not responding..."

My apple laptop and iphone did update last wk or so and its def not been working as smoothly especially the laptop. Works but just a PIA. Of course here in the mountains our internet connections involve a lady standing on the mountain top using Semaphore flags to pass on messages, or smoke signals being sent by local tribe. Either is worthless.!
 
Just happened to me again this morning. This is the only website that is doing this to me. I tried clearing everything like suggested above, and I've rebooted everything. Not sure where to look now...
 
I'm on and tried to post a "helpful" response, but it disappeared.

Test. I am having trouble getting my reply to post....from here where I work. At home on my computer, my iPhone, no problems. Back to the work computer, sometimes I cannot connect. I just assumed our admin had blocked the site since I am on it so much....

Windows 10. We are always at least two updates away from current. And our IT admin has so many blocks and firewalls and traps that the only things that can get thru is the stuff they are trying to block and catch.
 
This has also happened to me a few times when connecting via the app from my iPhone.

I’ve been seeing it for a couple of weeks I would guess.

I honestly haven’t tried to connect with any other method after I see the error.
 
Now I'm using Chrome. Internet Explorer 11 is still our preferred browser 'casue it works with all our other online applications.
I tried Edge and it wouldn't connect. I tried other "deer hunting forums" and i could access.

I tried Chrome and it works every time - at least in the last 15 minutes.

The security settings I cannot change. I guess at this point it sounds like the our Deer Hunter forum and/or the hosting server has some problems connecting to different browsers with the browsers maybe having different security settings?

Like others, I never had any problems (here at work, even using IE 11)until the last couple of weeks. My iPhone and my home computer where i exclusively use Chrome (even on my iPhone) - I never have had an issue.

Very interesting. We have a couple theories - everyone having problems, please post your location. We are trying to determine if it’s a regional DNS issue.

The software is also going to be upgraded very soon (this thread is the final straw). No guarantee that will fix the problem, but at least we can try.
