Hunting Blinds

My hunting friend is looking to upgrade a hunting blind and wants to purchase instead of build. And after Native's I dont think the rest of us can even consider building one
What do you have? Which one is best?
We have 6 x 8 platform already built and placed.

I am partial to the Dixie Deer Blinds. They are made right here in Mississippi and are some of the best finished blinds I've seen. I love their octagon blind.

I have two 5.5'x5.5' Dillon fiberglass blinds and just committed to a third one today. Expensive, but barring a tree falling on them will last me the rest of my life. Very roomy for one guy, but two can hunt out of it easily too. RV type door, flip up windows, shelf for your gear. I have two on tubular steel 5' plarforms and the other will go on a shorter platform, just enough to keep critters from trying to den under it.

Rednecks have worked for us so far..... They’re not cheap, but sure nice to hunt out of in swirling winds and single digit temps.

I have a dozen different ones and 360HuntingBlinds beats them all. Their window system is the best i've used, and the multiple angles created by the twelve sided design is like a stealth plane, helps prevent the deer from spotting you through the windows, with no blind spots in any direction. the manufacturer is amish and the quality reflects this, he's got dealers in Pa, Ky, Md, Mo, Oh, Ia etc. https://www.360huntingblinds.com/

How did you set that up?

Was assembly difficult?

Yes, I put up a few of these, an hour with a ladder, and a cordless impact driver with a torx bit. Of course, I'm a barnbuilder to begin with, maybe figure 2 hours if you don't have any construction experience. I think 360 has a video online of this process. Put the legs and floor together on its side, flip upright, (you might need a few helpers if you don't have a FEL), set up ladder to the floor, screw individual wall panels on floor one at a time, when you have the back half of the wall panels on, you set the roof on top, then finish screwing in the rest of the wall panels. This one below is 16' long legs, about 15' to the base, and has treated 4X4 wooden legs that I just bought myself instead of getting the leg kit from 360. They have a custom cut wooden kit with stairway, or the all steel base I have pictured in the other post. The 12 ga. powdercoated heavyduty tubular steel tower has double support cables and is the heaviest one that I've seen on the market thus far, and I'd spend the extra money. As you can see in the pics, the procedure setup is fairly simple, and everything fits together like a lego set.

Haven’t been able to locate a price list. Can you give a ball park figure for the360 and steel stand? I’m trying to figure out pros and cons vs. another Redneck. Thanks!

Squirts Custom Blinds. 6x6. It turned out so good, I bought another 6x6 and 3 4x4 blinds. The 6x6s are gun / bow combos. The 4x4s are made for gun only. Visibility is literally 360 deg and they are built rock solid. Highly recommend.

I looked at the 360 and don't see how the windows would seal up as tight as a Redneck. Scent tight is the most important aspect of a blind for me and a Redneck 100% allows me to hunt "bad winds".

I'd say the windows in my 360 blinds seal tighter than a redneck due to the weather stripping system.

Holy nose bleed,Thats some long 4x4,I hope you have them about 3ft in cement. If you make your own check out The original deer blind window Co.Its a strange name but they make good windows. As far as a store bought blind the redneck would be tough to beat

Yep, I agree on the windows from The Original Deer Blind Window Company (yeah, it’s a mouthful). I ordered some custom windows from them last week and they were delivered to me within a week. I was planning to go with DeerView Windows, but their lead time is crazy (which I guess is a good thing for them). I got the framed swing sash and they came out great. Planning to install in two new blinds tomorrow.

Have no affiliation with the above, just thought I’d chime in since I found very little reviews on them before I bought. Was real impressed and plan to use them in the future, but will use their stock window dimensions for the next blind.

Im looking at the 360 blinds, I believe I've seen these before but I don't think I've ever been in one. What model have you preferred for bowhunting? Also what's the exterior (wall) material like (LP smart side exterior)? Do you think you could mount the metal frame to 4X4s and skid it around (of course not upsetting the frame and connection points to the housing of the blind base)?

How about some of you guys post pics of setting up these blinds on a hill side?? I really don't like your dang flat land, always showing off.
