My 2018 Ohio buck

I'm new to the forum but been keeping up with it for awhile. On Nov 27th I got my best buck ever. Was hunting our southeastern Ohio farm and after sitting all day and not seeing anything, I decided to rattle around 4pm. After about 10 minutes this brute was standing 40 yds from me. He's 25" inside and had 30" mainbeams. Best thing about the whole hunt was my dad was hunting 400yds from me and got to come over and enjoy the whole thing with me.

Had a taxidermist score him at 190 6/8. But I've not had him officially scored. My biggest before this one was 143" so I'm definitely not used to seeing deer like this

That’s an awesome deer. I know a couple guys that hunt east of Cincinnati. Some big deer up there.

Looks like a booner to me.

Haha buddy I don't think anybody is used to seeing deer like that. Big congratulations!

do you have any more pictures or any trail cam pictures? We would love to see those. Any history with him?

Had pics of him last season. I'm pretty sure he was only 4 yr old. Crazy to think of what he could have grew in another year or two, but I was more than happy to take him. Lol. Here's a 2017 pic. He had to put on 45" in one year

This is probably my favorite pic of all. My favorite hunting partner(my dad), I think he was as pumped as I was

Score-wise, it stinks that G2 tine on the left is forked and not a separate tine. Now it'll have to be scored as an 8-point. Still might make 170. Character-wise and experience-wise, who gives a crap what the net score is. Congrats again!!

Yea, he had broke the other g4 off about an inch high. The other g4 is 9" and by looking at the base of the broken one I'd say it was the same length had it not been broke

Score goes out the window on a deer like that. I'm with you on the dad/hunting partner thing. Nothing beats that! Congrats on a once-in-a-lifetime deer!

Repair it. LOL. My uncle is one of those antler crafter guys and he rebuilt one one time from trail pictures. It was amazing.
