New plot- better than expected

This is WI alfarack plus. It’s their Imperial clover, chicory, and alfalfa blend. I must say— I’ve never planted before. It came in better than any plot I’ve ever put in and the deer are hammering it. I’ve had 6000 pictures in 6 weeks in one corner of the plot.

I think it was pretty lucky. Very intentional where we put it but never did a soil test, no lime or fertilizer, and just got the right amount of rain at right time. It was spring planted, and thankfully we were able to get weeds killed good before we planted and simply mowing it high took care of the rest.

Very impressive especially for a perrenial plot without a soil test. Who knows what your PH could be and it came out great. To top it all off, daytime pics of nice bucks.
 
I’d like to think you are right. A little hard to say. You could talk me into 3yr old or 4+. Aging still is challenging for me.

Old, young, etc... they seem to like this mix. First time I’ve ever planted it but short of soybeans, not sure I’ve ever had a plot hit harder.
