Thought I would go pick some chants for dinner tonight. Picked a small batch and noticed my pants didn't look right.... ticks! Little ticks all over me. I didn't cook dinner and instead spent the next 30 minutes in the shower scrubbing my flesh raw. I hate ticks.

When I worked on my tree stands this weekend, I sprayed EVERYWHERE with Off. Everywhere except my socks. Inside of my boots. Inside of my jeans. All of which I did spray.... I had at least 10 of those tiny guys bit into each foot. Today is miserable. I have such a bad reaction to ticks... I hate them! They are the reason I haven’t hunted early season in years....

I'm the same way tmax! Thankfully I have a reaction to the bite and find them before they've been in more than a day. Swollen and itchy feet suck! Good luck to ya!

Front line and regular spraying's with permithrin around her pen and house. She stays clean for the most part. There are times in the summer that she need Frontline at 3 week intervals instead of 4.

Those seed ticks are horrible now. I’ve run into them at least 3 times this year. Nearly every time I go near the woods without my pre sprayed permethrin clothes they end up all over me. When it happens I take a rag and spray with deer and wipe down my skin. Seems to work well getting them off. Also take my clothes and spray with permethrin and kills them DEAD! Hate those things!

Seed ticks suck. Duct tape has been my best friend once in them like that.

Good weekend! Built a ladder and railings for the loft. The ladder slide against the wall for when you want more floor space, and the railings are steel cable just like on the deck... real easy to see through.
