My son will gobble these up Merle. They are too tart for my taste, but he loves them. He also is a Granny Smith guy........

Thanks TC. I remember the first apple I grew on a tree that I set. I built a wire cage around it to keep some critter from stealing it...….

Different than what we call June apples. Ours are yellow and sweet. Make the best apple crisp in the world. Man, I miss my grandma!!!

A guy who I bought some trees from told me about an apple that sounds like yours. It ripened in June too. He said they had them when he was a kid.

I wish I could find one of them now. My grandmother-in-law had one but it got cut down before I learned to graft.

Looks great Native. I pulled Bevans, but I will have some Williams Pride in about 3 weeks. Nice summer Apple.
Those apples look pretty clean for a no spray.

Thanks Fish. Yes, for no spray they are relatively clean. They have been ripening slowly, and some still on the tree. Here are a few more that I picked a couple of days ago.
