Chinese juniper?

So I had these little guys growing in the side borders of my yard so I thought I'd dig them up and plant them out at my hunting property. I believe it's Chinese Juniper based on the plant id app. I figured they would provide some good thermal cover in a few areas where I'm going to hinge cut for better bedding. Any thoughts? Pros and cons?

I hope you have good luck with that. My deer seem to want to eat anything unusual that I plant, even if it isn't something that is supposed to be good to eat.

I doubt they'll eat this because it is fairly prickly so I can't imagine it would be too comfortable to munch on. LOL! They do seem to eat almost anything though so we'll see what happens. I did some research online and evidently junipers can carry cedar rust so I will definitely keep them away from the fruit trees!
