This buck

Few more. Hes not very wide, but he has long tines, his g4s especially are pretty impressive, and long curving main beams. Im thinking maybe 150.HUNT0175-800x449.JPG HUNT0177-800x449.JPG HUNT0178-800x449.JPG HUNT0179-800x449.JPG HUNT0170-800x449.JPG

That buck is 160+ all day. Not wide but beams seem long. G4's are great. Not a ton of mass, but 160+ I'd bet a case of beers.

I hope you get a whack at him ! Seems like my summer bucks go up in a wisp of smoke come September though.
Every buck ive had on cam at this spot, this is my third season with that cam there, has shown up during daylight hours hard horned in september. This guy was there last year too, in september during the day

I'm glad for you ! Some of mine hang around of course, it just seems like the one I plan to bowhunt never shows after velvet peel. A couple years ago I had a 4.5 year old that I was interested in that stayed until bow season. I was getting a fair number of daytime pics of him. About a week in, and old one eyed warrior showed up and put a butt whipping on him in front of one of my cameras. I never saw him again. The one eyed buck took his place in my hunts but he was nocturnal I guess. Never saw him or got a daytime pic of him. Got lots of night time pics though, and after the rut was over, never saw him again.

Well now i really need to get him. Not only will i have a ~150" buck on the wall, but ill have 2 cases of beer too!

I think if i get an opportunity early on to take his buddy ill do it, cause i can take 2 bucks this year. Not much in tine length on him, but he has decent width and mass, and he didnt grow noticably from last year. Id be happy to put him in the freezer, knowing i can go right back out and hunt the bigger one.HUNT0253-800x449.JPG
