Amelanchier species (aka Serviceberry)

In your neck of the woods it is likely Downy Serviceberry or Smooth Serviceberry, sometimes referred to as Allegheny Serviceberry . Downy will generally have more fine hairs on the leaves - especially the underside.

Yep Allegheny seviceberry is what I call it. Thanks friend. I'm not too far removed from a home. Getting dangerous.

Well, I'm planning on coming and visiting you someday when I retire. Send me the name and address of the rest home if you get committed before I get there.

I like the rest home idea for us crazies. We could food plot in the flower gardens and top work all those pea sized crabapple trees.
